You know by now that Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary is located in the hills high above Berkeley, overlooking the Golden Gate. To the west of us is the bustling San Francisco Bay Area, a major metropolitan community of 7 million people. To the east of us is Tilden Park, 2,000 acres of wilderness, trails, bike paths, meadows, and water. PLTS sits right between these two unique environments, completely a part of both of them.
It is a big step to begin seminary; the journey is as important as the destination and we are pleased to be on this journey with you. The deadline for submitting housing applications to the Facilities Coordinator is March 30. After this date, we cannot guarantee housing. Any available housing after March 30 will be assigned on a first come, first served basis until June 30, after which housing may be difficult to secure.
