The Theological Education for Emerging Ministries [TEEM] certificate program is a non-residential and contextual-educational arm of Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary aimed at preparing women and men for ordained ministry in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America [ELCA].

Students study at home with local pastors/mentors, and they meet together on campus three times a year with their professors. The curriculum of this program generally consists of 15 courses, 2 optional electives and 4 workshops, plus internship and Clinical Pastoral Education [CPE]. Depending on the student’s circumstances, internship and CPE could be completed while pursuing the academic components of the curriculum.
