Doctoral Programs

The Graduate Theological Union offers the Doctor of Theology (ThD) and, in cooperation with the University of California, Berkeley, the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees. PLTS participates in these programs of advanced academic doctoral study. Doctoral students can choose to affiliate with PLTS, and PLTS faculty serve on the doctoral faculty. Students to the doctoral programs apply through the Graduate Theological Union.
