Schedule of Events

9 AM – Refreshments on Chapel Patio

10 AM – Decommissioning Worship with Eucharist

11:30 AM – Bag Lunch/Processional Walk Begins

1-3 PM – Open House at 2000 Center Street

 

We will decommission each building on campus, and then, for those who are able, process 3.7 miles down the hill to 2000 Center Street. Please remember to bring sunscreen, water and wear comfortable walking shoes for those who want to join the procession. We won’t walk straight down Marin Avenue, but parts of the walk down Euclid Avenue are a bit steep. You can pack your own lunch as we depart to eat on the move. A map of the walk will be printed in the worship bulletin. Restrooms won’t be provided along the route, although there are a few local businesses where you can stop in once we enter the city. You are encouraged to coordinate rides back up the hill to cars with friends or use a rideshare service such as Lyft or Uber. Non walkers may drive down the hill. Parking is available in nearby downtown city garages.

This event is free to all! You are invited to make a gift during the registration process to help offset the costs of this event. Any additional proceeds raised beyond our event expenses will go to the PLTS Seminary Fund.
