The Institute for Theology and Ethics
The Institute for Theology and Ethics (ITE) at PLTS provides a forum for PLTS faculty, GTU faculty, other connected colleagues, and students to expand the frontier of interpreting the Christian faith. The ITE is concerned primarily with the interaction of faith and culture, both with the impact of our globalized culture on the faith and with exploring what our faith might have to offer the wider culture. Christian commitments to dignity, peace, justice, and planetary health are paramount. Special attention is given to the advances in modern science and related public policy concerns. The PLTS faculty has elected Professor Ted Peters to serve as director through 2007.
