Portico Benefits is the ELCA administrator of things like health insurance and retirement accounts. Andrea Arey from Portico will share information about the benefits available to you and your family, once you become a rostered leader in the ELCA. Andrea will speak and answer questions for about an hour. Afterwards, Rev. Katy Grindberg, Assistant to the Bishop in the Sierra Pacific Synod, and Rev. Jeremy Serrano, Pastor at Good Shepherd Lutheran in Concord, will share insights and answer questions about the first call process, including the topic of negotiating a first call compensation and benefits package. All students are highly encouraged to attend.
