Gender & Sexuality Week

As an extension of LGBTQ+ History Month, the CCEI has put together a week called Gender & Sexuality Week!

This week there will be multiple events and programs for students, faculty, and staff to attend virtually and in-person that will educate and celebrate LGBTQ+ identities.

Monday, October 19th, 1-4pm - via Zoom:

Safe Zone Training

This is an open safe zone training for students, faculty, and staff to establish a foundation in LGBTQ+ terminology and what it means to be an active ally. **This event is currently full**

Wednesday, October 21st at 12:00pm:

LGBTQ+ Curated Boxes:

Be the first 30 students to get a curated box of LGBTQ+ merchandise from stickers, flags, and much more! The form to sign-up for a box will drop at exactly 12:00pm. **Get the form for this box via The Hub - listed as seperate event**

Update! Rafiki on-campus screening will be post-poned for a later date. However, there is still an online event!

Friday, October 23rd @ 2:00pm -3:00pm:

 QTPOC: Where's the Representation?


This will be an event where represntation of queer and trans people of color (QTPOC) are spoken about in the media. Join, CCEI Coordinator, Izzy Ortiz, on zoom in discussing LGBTQ+ folx in the media and where you can find awesome videos, resources, and/or films that represent QTPOC.

Tuesday, October 20th & Thursday, October 22nd 

Social Media Campaign 

For this week only during LGBTQ+ History Month, the CCEI will highlight 3 influential LGBTQ+ individuals on the Student Life Instagram (@clustudentlife). It will resume back to MWF after this week is over.
