The Writing Center at Cal Lutheran is seeking enthusiastic, inclusive-minded writing consultants to support the center and its mission for Fall 2022 (a 50-hour paid training may begin in April, May, or August 2022).

We support writer development for our community (students, faculty, staff, alumni) at all campuses across all disciplines. This center is especially designed to support diverse populations and accommodate our underrepresented and minoritized community. While the work of supporting writers may be linked to writing studies, candidates from all academic disciplines are encouraged to apply.

We invite those with experience in STEM fields, the social sciences, fine arts, and/or scholars whose work is informed by social justice, queer studies, critical race studies, Indigenous studies, Latinx studies, disability studies, digital media studies, and/or community engagement.
