Edmond Yee is one of the four editors of and a major contributor to the Asian American Religious Cultures, a two volume encyclopedia published in August 2015 by ABC-CLIO, LLC of Santa Barbara, CA.

The encyclopedia consists of essays and entries and is “designed to be user friendly and informative for high school students, college undergraduates, and interested nonspecialist readers. The entries in the work are grounded on the perspective that Asian Americans are continuously (re)shaping their religious beliefs, practices, lifeways, communities, identities, and understanding of self in relation to others and the cosmos.”

Yee is Professor Emeritus of Asian Studies at Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary and former director of its Theological Education for Emerging Ministries program.  Many of the contributors to the two-volume work are graduates of the Graduate Theological Union.
