Disclosure 101: Managing disclosure on the job search to prevent discrimination

Searching for a job or internship is challenging, but if you have an issue or topic that you think may be uncomfortable to address for either you or the employer, it can add additional stress to the process. These tips from our workshop will address how to (or if to) disclose personal information during a job search. Topics will include physical or learning differences, chronic and temporary disabilities, LGBTQIA+ issues, how to address a conviction record or DUI, ADA laws, and political and religious discrimination.
