Commencement

When and Where

The PLTS Service of Commencement is normally held on the third Saturday in May. Graduates who are participating in person in Berkeley arrive at 10:00 am for a brief rehearsal, photographs, and assembling in line for processing. Graduates participating via Zoom log on at 10:40 am. School representatives, faculty, and staff are also requested to be present at 10:00 in full academic and/or ecclesial regalia. The hybrid service begins at 11:00 am. A light reception follows the service for those present in Berkeley. 

Regalia

Regalia (gowns, hoods, sashes) are ordered through California Lutheran University. An email is distributed to notify students of the process and timing of acquiring these pieces.
