As a graduate school of California Lutheran University, PLTS recognizes and values diversity in our campus community and are committed to providing equal access and opportunities to qualified students with various disabilities.
We provide comprehensive services in a manner that promotes respect and self-advocacy. In addition, we comply with university policy, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and the Americans with Disability Act of 1990 with its amendments of 2008.
Students who need to request accommodations register with our office of Disabilities Supports Services. The staff in our DSS office will work with you to implement your access-related requests for aids and services.
Students, staff, and faculty are encouraged to use the Community Groups process to create a group or groups for relationship-building, networking, support, accompaniment, and advocacy, depending on the interests and needs of those involved.
PLTS maintains a listing of local networks and communities in the Bay Area that are available to provide support, education, nourishment, and community for our students, staff, and faculty.
