Rev. William Strehlow
We mourn the death of the Rev. William Strehlow, PLTS Class of 1974. Bill was a native of Chicago and earned degrees from San Francisco State and PLTS. He served the congregations of Bethany/Norco and St. Philip/Oakland in California, St. Peter’s/Queens in New York, and Augustana, Our Lord’s and Immanuel in Chicago.
Bill was married to Rev. Karen Bloomquist, who served a term as Dean and Chief Administrative Officer at PLTS. A memorial service will be held on January 15, 2017, at 2:00 at University Lutheran Chapel in Berkeley.
